I've felt for some time that the Race Director should do just that, but one way only. He should have no direct contact with a team or TP and certainly not engage in any conversation or negotiation over decisions.

IMO it will prove to be a shallow victory for Max that will haunt him in future interviews and discussions with pundits. I wonder if Lewis would really want to be handed victory after a heated legal case. If he has any sense he will get his head down and work to prepare next year.
