Hmm...pre-June 1993 Morgan trad..! IMHO, an owner's eye, even an amateur one, is far more vigilant and cautious than 95% of dealers.
Hired people, assuming they look around where they are working at all, often do only the job requested myopically. Largely our fault. We
don't like dealers doing other than the work we ask of them. And admittedly, the community, once famous for its mechanical skills, has
changed with the rest of the world.

In this case, you moved a pre-June 1993 Morgan axle backwards. If measures were not taken, that makes the car significantly
MORE dangerous. Any impact at the rear, or the rear wheels wheels at their sides, will puncture the tank...even at very low speeds. An earlier
Morgan watchpoint cured quietly by Bill Beck (Morgan designer after Owen) by removing the hand brake actuator. pointing like spear at the
petrol tank. They also left brake line holders and even the actuator on the axle That will only allow it to penetrate the tank sooner and deeper,
