S4 based Plus 8 fuel gauge is as good as any other car down to about 30% on the digital display when it moves to a more traditional Morgan position: accurate on level ground and when the car isn't moving.
When the fuel level warning light comes on there is 5L left in the tank, but not all may be available to the fuel pump, it depends on the slope the car is sitting on.
I agree with Will, the position of the pump handle is critical.
