By ads do you mean the 3 or 4 small blocks that appear on the right of the opening page that I hadn't realized were there till you mentioned it?


TBM, maybe it’s the browser you are using to end up with the adds. I use Firefox and DuckDuckGo. I don’t seem to have many at all.

You would have to read the fine print but I suspect that is you are a paid contributing member that might also reduce advertising.
