I'm eagerly awaiting my Harley compensator repair kit from Phil Bleazey. Luckily I was first on the list and it's been shipped UPS International to me here in Ohio USA. Phil packed it up on Thursday or Friday and according to the trace I should get it on Monday. Really quick service. I've talked to the motorcycle shop here in town that's done some other work for me and as soon as he can clear out some space in his shop he can get to work on my car. He's very familiar with the S & S engine and the compensator as he does a lot of Harley work.

Here's the parts I'm getting from Phil

Bleazey Cush Drive: £1715.18
Bleazey counter-shaft: £447.46
clutch friction plate: £132.60
counter shaft bearing: £95.20
A new spigot bearing: £15.00
rubbers: £92.00 per set of four (you of course get one set with the cush drive kit anyway). I'm getting a spare set.

Bleazey cushdrive complete with shaft and bearing retainer sleeve - this gives you all of my modifications plus modified driving faces to give smoother take up and positive retention of the counter shaft bearing.

A replacement clutch friction plate - highly recommended - mine has slightly heavier springs than the Morgan version and this is where I see most failures.

A new spigot bearing
Possibly a new counter shaft bearing depending on the condition of the old one. The advantage of my new one is that it is rubber sealed and doesn't throw out the grease like the steel-shielded original.

You may want a spare set of rubber inserts for peace of mind - but no one has destroyed a set yet so I can't give you any idea of life expectancy.

These prices are inclusive of shipping and insurance to the States. $ 3,555 USD
