K, just to add a bit of confusion, this is the method chosen by Kevin, when he restored what was his Mog at the time, now mine... It seems to have lasted the test of my circa 20 years of ownership and circa 28k miles..

OK, OK, so it is not the original method but hopefully has restricted the ability of the bottom of the bulkhead to rot away quietly unseen.... I hope !!!
