For doing site work on heavy plant, I used to use a set of Aldi metric spanners and a socket set/torque wrench.
Really good quality and put up with all sorts of abuse . No hardship if you lost one either as they were cheap as chips to replace
Heard good reports about Halfords Advanced Pro tools as well
