Interesting question as I have been pondering a change of wheel for my Plus 8. It came with the Mota lita rim as per your top photo and its absolutely horrible. Sorry - I know some people like a wood wheel but on the Morgan it just feels wrong. It might look nice but not for driving. Every small bump in the road is transmiited through the wheel and because it feels quite thin I find the experience quite unpleasant. Its cold to the touch too. I'm looking to change my wheel for a leather one, maybe a bit fatter and probably a four spoke.
