When I fitted mine the bars were hovering a bit short of the chassis .... as above, I never like to stress things into position unless there's no alternative .... packed the gap with a stainless penny washer and bolted it up as normal. Perfectly solid solution.

I was just about to ask if this was a viable solution. BRBs are on the list of forthcoming purchases, along with remote greasing system, new tyres, steering bearings...
