Last night we came across this program on Sky (Documentary/Demand) and I have to say it was outstanding.

The Pikes Peak run set a record which they are still driving to retain today. The relationship with he co-driver must have been something to behold.
During the sections where they are speaking to her in her home she comes over as a real role model.

No screaming mental commentary or low rent talking heads as with most modern stuff. Great background material, Gumpert, Rohl and many others being really honest about the times and her performance. I think it did gloss over the Quattro's edge a little but a total gem.

Sorry to those without Sky. Keep an eye open for it when it hits the normal channels as it is worth it.
