thread has got me thinking.
Has anyone done something similar with a 4 seater? Anyone got any photos?
I currently carry a spare, although it's more of a space saver (165 tyre), as I have 195 and 205 tyres on the car.
The positives would be weight reduction (including the car jack) and I could carry a can of spray sealant/ytyre goo. I could also use the 'space' for some tool storage.
The downside is that the last two punctures I've had in (albeit both in a tintop, 4 and 15 years ago) were due to sidewall damage which I don't think are easily fixable with a can of goo. I do have an AA card though.
Any thoughts?
