In 2004 I bought the newly arrived Roadster series one....... Bring back red hot air on my feet and freezing face...I love it.

For balance, I had a '88 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet, an air cooled engine design that has had extensive development etc. the warm air heating system relied upon engine heat exchangers to force warm air thru the sill channels into the cabin. So in winter one had a source of heat in the cabin, fine in the non turbo models but had an interesting trait for the turbo models. With the heating on in winter as soon as you spooled up the turbo above 2800rpm a wall of super warm heat flooded the cabin from the heat exchanger, hot enough to burn you feet or start to melt your shoes. So in winter you effectively had no heating in the cabin unless you drove relatively respectfully making sure you never spooled the turbo.......................
