For me, the driving position is all part of the fun of ownership (and my seat backs are fixed). My left foot when not on the clutch, leans against the tunnel. I find it surpringly comfortable and particularly like the close proximity of the lovely Lady Budster when she is travelling with me.
Though the hood is rarely up, I do find the car particularly cosy when it is.
