I looked into the cost of tuning a CVH when considering what model Morgan to buy, yes it would be very expensive, even if you build your own engine & use second-hand parts.
Probably more cost effective to sell the CVH engined car and buy another Morgan with a sportier engine - but owning a Morgan isn't about being sensible!
