I cant find any reference to the amount of grease placed into the rack on assembly, or where to easily refill it. Logically this should be able to be undertaken if say, a steering rack gaiter failed and leaked out the lube.

Hillman Imps used a similar style of steering rack, you refilled these car by jacking up one side of the car and taking the plain rubber end cap off the now high side of the rack.[/quote]
Thanks Jack, that's an interesting idea... but not sure the Morgan's chassis would take too kindly to being tilted over on one side only... Looks like the only way to refill it would be to take the rack out and as you say refill through the end cap. I am not yet at that stage though...
