Ha! not necessarily such a daft idea and maybe one day but no, I came on a plane, then a train, the a funicular, then a bus, then a cable car, then a ski lift.
Yes it was TIC, it is a lovely country to tour and back in the late 70’s when I was working in Germany we spent a fair bit of time there.
My good lady is not enchanted with the Morgan so we won’t be enjoying a topless tour but it would be good. If she was keen I would have done the Treffen by now Laurens welcomes 4 wheelers…
I use to travel similarly to you when I went on a couple of school visits back in the early 60’s, great fun enjoy your stay.
