I have been following this thread with interest but I am a little mystified. Googling has not been helpful. Forgive my ignorance but what are "flangedrive spanners and sockets"?
It should be flank drive The sockets and spanners drive on the flanks of the nut or bolt, as opposed to the corners. Supposed to help reduce the risk of the corners rounding off
