Actually talking to Richard they didnt exactly, however I am intrigued that an Alfa Giulietta 1300 finished 9 laps ahead of them, no wonder Richard went on to race them and sell them in the UK for many years. Also 120 mph ? with the final drive fitted for LeMans she ran quite a bit above that and certainly does now.
