I never lock mine for two reasons: It’s pointless when the windows simply slide open. And, I ‘d rather someone simply opens the door to gain access, rather than slash the hood with a box cutter.
Theft of the actual car is pretty rare I believe.

Many people ignore car alarms so I don’t think they are very effective. If you have an apple i-phone, you can buy a simple tracking device for £20 or so and hide it in the car.

It’s always useful to give the year and model of Morgan when asking for advice. For instance, if you have a more modern Morgan with fuse boxes easily accessible under the bonnet, you could easily remove a fuse or relay.
