Folks, a number of things, based on 30 years of doing days at Goodwood;
- Noise testing is totally variable and I would strongly recommend coming armed with additional sound-reducing options if you're running non-stock exhausts. Even dropping in beforehand to test does not guarantee success - my Renault Spider measured 97dB one week and 102dB or so the next - nearly 4x the volume in absolute terms, with the same car and the same meter and the same chap. The ACT slip-ons are proven to work.
- Last year they insisted on FullFace helmets for the 3-Wheelers, plus stout jacket and covered arms/legs of course.
- The Instructors are not fans of the M3W's and last year refused to go out and coach. 2 of them work with me at other venues and spoke about it afterwards - they don't want to take what they see as a risk.
- It will be a brilliant day however, just come prepared and that should avoid disappointment!
