To follow up on my initial queries, I spoke to Sarah at BHM, she advised that, yes, it would be ok to use my own open face helmet. The noise limit for the track day at Goodwood is set at 98dB. She advised that i would be able to go there to have my G56 noise value tested before the day, which would then give me the opportunity to pull out with a full refund. - (It would also allow me some time to fit some kind of extra muffler if required).

I spoke to Chris at G56 he advised me of the following test results from when they were developing the Stage 1 system.

Std @ 1100rpm : 79db
Std @ 3700rpm : 95db

G56 @ 1100rpm : 78db
G56@ 3700rpm : 98db

He also made it very clear that their results may differ markedly from any testing done at Goodwood, it all coming down to conditions on the day - the equipment and procedure used to do the tests.
It will be noted that their top end value of 98dB is right on the Goodwood limit.
It’s handy that I live a mere 18 miles from the circuit so ……

I contacted Sarah at Goodwood, she advised me that provided I turn up to a TRACK day prior to the Morgan day (no need for an appointment), i will be able to get one of the scrutinisers to do a noise test for me.
I would imagine that in the end to guarantee track time I will probably have to source and fit an attenuating tail pipe muffler of some kind, preferably without the need to drill holes etc. If anyone has any info based on their own experiences I would be interested to know. The id. of the tail pipe is about 58mm.

I will continue this thread in due course as and when any pertinent information arises.
