I remember now reading about home made versions of this a few years ago. It seems to me that the engine system in my car is a closed system so any advantage from hydrogen is removed by the load on the alternator so there should be no performance gain. However, I can't comment on if it produces cleaner exhaust...I wonder if there's a test for that?

PS I wonder how happy insurance companies would be about a container of hydrogen in the engine bay, and installed by me an amateur?
