Haven't been active on the forum or with the Morgan for a bit. Got the ' 70 4/4 out last night for a quick evening run. The car was great after a bit of carb adjusting, However this morning on another run, the Smiths black face tachometer didn't move from zero. Obviously since the car still ran, the white wire from the ignition to the coil is intact which makes me think there is some internal problem with the tach. If the problem is internal, where do I get it fixed, or where to get a new identical unit, or where do I find a used unit. Or better yet what is the problem? Is there any troubleshooting/testing that I can do to determine the problem? Is there some sort of fix that can be performed by myself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
