I just returned from Dover and it’s got worse. The queuing extended to Maidenhead this morning with local families now caught up in the mess due to the police suddenly closing off the lanes for non ferry traffic, looked like incompetence to me.
It really is a national disgrace. If Grant Shapps is trying to make P&O suffer through over zealous Coastguard inspections then he’s causing suffering to thousands of people and businesses in the process. I thought “Failing Grayling” was an idiot but hey ho seems he’s in good company.
