Racked up 24 points as a kid - spent over two years on 9 points which certainly focused the mind as Rich says....
After a gap of over 20 years, got stung in the Mog three years ago, bimbling past a speed van at 36 in a 30 - decided to go for the course option. Most tedious day of my life (although the venue was nice - The Aviator at Sywell). If I got nabbed again, I think I'd rather take the points....
