Interesting discussion.
Having just done a track day.(Snetterton) The 4/4 is as good, if not better than most of the others in the corners, but despite hitting the rev limiter on occasion the V8s & +4s & roadsters just flew passed on the straights. Cornering is addictive on the twists, but I can see why torque is a pure winner for real day to day life.
