Yes, the kit is now compatible with damper blade models. The former version was not, the bottom connection piece of the grease tubing fouled the blade bracket. It has now been revised with a swivel type, that is smaller, moves slightly as you turn the steering wheel and is much easier to fit. My inborne modesty prevents me from telling who sourced out this item, modified the Wolf kit, fitted it with success and then informed Cain/Wolf, who incorporated it and even improved it a little more.
It works very well. I know it is disputed because it allows you to just open the bonnet, grease and close it again - leaving the important checking under the car, especially if grease has got on to the brake discs. That is a matter of discipline. It is easy just to go down with a flashlight and check, much easier than doing the whole grease operation lying on the ground. I grease quite little but but also quite often, and when have checked there has never been grease on the discs or a threatening excess that I need to wipe off.
