I would caution anyone from tinkering with the fuel cap though because the engine management system monitors it somehow and an ill fitting cap can cause the system to flag up a fault on the dash.
I've spoken to Steve Simmonds about the electrical connection to the fuel filler and he is able to install an Aero cap whilst retaining all the functionality of the OE design.
Apparently, it's not a major problem.
