Craig, regarding the headers on the P/101, whatever coating MMC used certainly on the white exhausts they all seem to have peeled, as far as I have seen. I replaced both exhausts via Krazy Horse the new coating is Cerakote and 1,500 odd miles so far no peeling on either side. The white exhaust header and pipe did change colour initially to a brownish colour but after a few hundred miles turned back to white, not sure why that happened but so far all good.
If it is powder coating it will melt around the original cured temperature which could be as low as 180°C. Front of exhaust pipes will be way above that.
