Sometimes in the remote outposts of Scotland I'm happy to throw in half a tank of the local brew. I try to keep over half a tank for that very reason.
Yep, I fill up every 250 miles or so and at touring speeds that's just over 20 litres, so an occasional glug of E10 isn't going to be a problem. But having said that, this year I had no problem at all finding E5. Didn't go as far as Thurso though.
