The following images are of a car I saw at the MOG 50 event in Luray, VA this year. The red piping at the bottom of the Bimini top hides a zip that cleverly attaches the lower aft portion of the hood, including the three flexible windows. Once the windows are zipped in place, the side curtains affix as normal and the car is as weathertight as it would be with the stock hood. Note that I am NOT claiming the car is weathertight...

It's an interesting design, and allows for better weather protection on a trip without the storage consumption of a full hood.
