On a more generic note. Much depends upon the gearbox internals, even the Trad +8 should not be towed as the gearbox is lublicated by the rotation of it`s input shaft which in a towing situation is not turning thus the gearbox internals would not be receiving the normal supply of lubricant with only the output shaft turning..
Even the recovery of HGV`s can involve removal of driveshafts to inhibit inputs to gearboxes during towing.
