This varies according to which dashboard design you have. The shallow dash from the 2002 to 2006 (approx) era allows more upward adjustment of the steering wheel. Later dashboards are deeper, so limit that upward movement.

Dave - this is the M3W section they weren't being produced until circa 2012 from memory innocent

The steering wheels are removable I believe.

So the issue isn't quite the same if you have a removable steering wheel! But the gap between the bottom of the steering wheel and top of the seat base is still the one to watch.
