As per Aeroman's comments on the thread regarding MMC's changes to the Aero 8 and the 'cost' of the rise in the MSRP, here are the changes that Miscellany have quoted are happening to the Roadster V6: -
Roadster is getting a slightly lower BHP V6 (was the Ford ST220 unit but is now the US only Escape V6) but is up on torque figures.
Changes to the design include: -
Bulkhead now bolted together rather than welded and now bolts onto the chassis rather than slotting.
Gearbox mount is now bolted to chassis and the chassis can be used for all 5 variants of the Trad car.
"Rear suspension has been adjusted, with the use of new design, four leaf rear springs, and new Bilstein shock absorbers which have the bump stops on them, rather than the the rubber blocks on the chassis of old"
New aluminium radiator as standard
New dashboard similar to the 4/4 Anniversary models
...as with most things Morgan, Miscellany believe (and you'd be silly not to) that these changes to the Roadster will filter down to the other Trad models.
