Replaced the rear sprocket $ 500 for it and I think the labor was around $ 250. Not including an oil change I've got almost $ 9,400 in it since I bought it 2 years ago.

And I might have to have the motor pulled again to fix the stator. In the meantime we'll keep the battery on a charger and carry a jump start pack to able to start it when the battery dies.

Not a cheap toy. I've also got a 1980 + 8 that I bought 2 months ago. So far I've changed the fuel filter for $ 6. It's got 21,000 miles on it.

Not a cheap toy as you say. Hope it all turns out OK for you....
