Not that Luca wants to hear more bad news but heads up on this issue. A couple years ago, the polished front cowl on my garage queen' '17 began to show signs of 'pox' under the shine throughout most of the surface. Turns out, it was magnetic not stainless as it was supposed to be. Thankfully, it was replaced by my dealer under warranty without question. Bad batch of metal.

I will raise this issue with my deadbeat dealer when I reach out to them yet again on Friday. If nothing happens by Monday or Tuesday I'll ask the factory to step in before exercising other options. Did you have a good experience overall with your dealer?
