Driving home earlier this week I went to turn the Radio on, only to find it was dead.
I've been hankering after the rather lovely Retro Look Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB, but it is almost £350.00.This could be the opportunity I wanted... But before I shot off an order I thought I should make a token effort to check the connections, so I could make a convincing argument to SWMBO

The Alpine DAB radio is about 10 years old and is fed directly from the ignition, as MMC intended but there is a secondary feed from the battery to power the memory and so on.
To my disappointment I found the fuse in this second feed was lose in its holder... I pushed it down so it seated correctly and turned on the Radio, it worked.
Opportunity lost...
