I want to pick up an ignition switched live feed but I'm struggling to find an easily accessed connection so I'm thinking if going back directly to the wires coming from the ignition switch.
However there appear to be 3 wires from the switch that operate on the switch.
The brown is the live in to the switch but which wire would be the correct one to use for an ignition switched accessory?
My thinking is the thicker white wire but can anyone confirm this?
As suggested any light green/white wire (white trace) will be ignition switched Bob since that is generic code for such. I would avoid the probably unused one of that colour that runs for 50mm from ignition switch plug though. I would choose a feed already protected by low current fuse in main fusebox. As John V6 suggests the switched radio feed light green/white cable is protected by fuse 9 (radio/horn) so you could piggy back that. Depending on current drain from your extra device you may need to upgrade the fuse rating from 10 amp though.
