There's something odd about the photo of the recovery. I can't establish exactly where/when the accident occurred, but that road runs due North-South. Judging by the shortish shadows the accident could have occured late morning or early early afternoon ? (allowing for time to get the recovery truck in place). If it was morning, then the photographer would need to be facing north for the shadows to be extending beyond the offside of the car. The car is on the wrong side of the road, so it would have spun for it to end up pointing south. If it was afternoon (which is more likely, as the original tweet was at 6:20pm), then the photographer would need to be facing south, and the car could have been going south and spun, or could have crossed the carriageway ? (Turn the photo upside down and it may make more sense....). It's a very busy road, so either way it's all the more remarkable that no other vehicles were involved or injuries. OR MAYBE I JUST FAILED MY SCOUTS ORIENTEERING EXAM BIG TIME.....
