Every 6/7 years on my 2003 4/4 - Zetec.
I also fitted a new water pump on the last recent change.
I think that your 4/4 has the 1.6 Sigma engine. I believe that Ford recommend every 8 years for the cam belt and auxiliary belts on the Sigma engine.
So yours are due a change.
Just not worth risking the engine for a relatively simple job.
