Since that time I have not forgotten the solid build of a V70 and its multiple safety features of paramount importance and would only ever replace like for like. The present one is approaching the magic 200 K miles and purrs along sweetly.



I hit a van and his front was obliterated while mine was damaged but not horrendously. We did think, well, we should just get the same as we both loved that car! Trouble is, mine was knocking on a bit and to get a better spec/lower milage etc we would need to put a decent wedge up with the insurance money.
