Same in my patch, I voted independent and the Conservatives lost 12 councillors to Lib Dem and independents, the self indulgent national Conservative freak show of recent years has really left me angry.
But when I hear the same old “shut down the independent school sector” rhetoric from the Labour Party it seems to me they are just as ideologically stupid as the other lot. Where the heck do they think they will put all the pupils from independent schools when hard working parents can’t afford to pay another 25% on top of school fees?
