I have seen early cars plumbed in with both methods from MMC.
The T-piece is a better system for bleeding , but both will work well, especially if you have a "power bleeder" .
If it worries you , then plumb in a T-piece , but if not continue to drive on your current system and make a note to convert it when you do a rebuild , or other major work.
