I have not owned a Morgan yet but am in the market privately for either a 2012 onwards Plus 4 or a low mileage pre 2006 or post 2017 Roadster, but many of the prices being asked seem poor value for money. Also, I am waiting for one to come up with the right spec and colour combination.
It seems to me that many of the dealers are advertising and re-advertising cars which would seem to indicate that a) asking prices in general are too high and b) because they have to hold on to stock for a long time they must have to buy in cars at very low prices so I find it hard to understand why many private selllers asking prices seem to mirror those of dealers, so these seem to hang around for ages too……
I appreciate that Morgans are very special, but there is only a limited market for them, so in the present climate motivated sellers who price realistically are much more likely to sell in a reasonable time………
