It should be standard on your car. One thing I found with mine was that there is a box bolted under the passenger side firewall. The cables weren't pushed fully in, they clicked over the catches when pushed.
I also find that when you click on the ignition key to the first stop i.e. before turning to start the car you need to give it a few seconds to settle. I wait till the dials traverse across & back before starting. If I don't sometimes the power steering isn't on.
My power steering is motors mounted onto the steering column just above your right knee.
Also try pushing your relays in. Mine used to rise out of the socket & that caused issues. New relays solved that.
