Down for on with toggle switches is the norm ...... in the UK!
Across the pond the convention is reversed and the OP will be used to 'up for on' .
Hopefully you at least have the steering wheel on the right side for US roads ... the switches can be just another Morgan quirk like the handbrake 😀
