Err, with respect RichardV6 I'm not so sure your info on the gearbox for a GDI is correct. It has the Mx5 gearbox which takes 2 litres. In the GDI installation the engine is vertical as opposed to the 10 deg slant that it's in in the Mx5. This means that the gearbox is on a slant so that the level plug is lower than it should be. In order to get 2 lt into the box you have to pick the front of the car up (quite a lot!). There is also the remote gear lever mounting, if your car has one? This has a small amount of oil in it. From looking at the gear ratios given in my handbook it refers to the Ford gearbox.
