When I was using my mog in all weathers, come greasing time I would do the greasing then, having cut a piece the right size to go round three times, apply clingfilm. Holds itseif in place. Stops grease spraying on discs and easy to remove for a fresh layer at next greasing.
I've mentioned it before but haven't seen it become commonplace...l
