Hi, MMC fitted the Mark II glue solution at a service, but we did quite a number of tours to France in it and it got used during the UK winter as well, as long as no salt on the roads, and we had no problems with windows popping at all. Rich who bought the car has not had the bolts fitted, and whilst they do resolve the problem I think as I said above that it spoils the aesthetic.

I know that one of the famous members of the forum had trouble with his AeroMax windows dropping out and has had the bolts fitted, so it's really down to personal choice. If I still had an AeroMax I would certainly investigate the baked-on Sikaflex solution proposed by 'aeromax' before getting them bolted. HTH. smile
