It was the 'engineer bloke' that did it for me. I could see the presenters eyes glaze over when he started on his 'career highlights' - at least he managed to cut him off at '1991' as they'd probably still be filming......
Part of his career highlight is obviously F'ing around talking and not getting things done like restoring the cars he has. If he can get the engine going in a couple of days why wait 20 years. To me either admit you don't have time and pay someone to do it, or pull your finger out and do it, or admit it is to you not worth the effort and sell to someone more motivated. It is such a shame to see a car sit for so long slowly turning into just rust. Only the rear went in the salt water and the owner said everything upfront is fine, but the door are just falling apart and the panel the bonnet catch goes on has as the reporter said turned into cornflakes. I hope brownbaker is right and now the car has had publicity it is auctioned off to someone who will not F around for another 20 years.
